With the knowledge that he had gained, he opened A.C. & Barnes in 2012. Since then, the company has been a thriving family owned and operated business based in Frederick MD. Chip has brought on his two sons, Dan and Jesse, into the roofing business and he continues to teach them everything he knows to help achieve the best results for their customers.

Dan is the son of Chip and has been in the roofing business since 2005. As an Estimator, he is one of the first team members you will meet. He travels to businesses and homes to evaluate your roofing project, take measurements, consult with you about your roof goals, and then creates a custom plan for your project.

Jesse, also the son of Chip, is one of the team’s Foremans. He leads a crew each day by organizing the material needed and determining the time of labor spent to maximize the amount of work that gets done each day.
